PELT (US)
Extended experimental raga rock project by the blues guitarist Jack Rose. Jack Rose is a talented American blues rock guitarist which in parallel of his solo albums has released several items for an experimental, minimalist eastern tinged raga inspired project named Pelt. In this production, the acoustic, folk side of his musical background is orientated to unconventional, highly mystical experiences released with the help of traditional instruments as acoustic modal guitar, bowed strings, cello, bowed metal and addition of amplified sounds. In this adventure, Jack Rose is accompanied by three others musicians whose Mike Gangloss, Pat Best and Skipp James Connell. The quartet explores the universe of drones music, the meditative density of eastern classical music and post rock. They provide a rather luminous, static and cinematic extended exploration throw infinite time. |

SOME TWEETLOVE (BE)
Instrumental quintet from Belgium, Tom Sweetlove was born in a cold night of February 2000, by the will of Jean-Michel Leclercq (guitar, keyboards), Henri Gonay (guitar, percussions), Patrick Simon (drums, guitar) and cousins Corentin Di Prima (bass) and Maxime Le Hung (guitar, sampler). The band has since recorded a split-EP with Dutch post-rockers We vs. Death, opened for several foreign bands such as L'Altra, Calla, Hanged Up, Early Day Miners or Gregor Samsa and played at Rhaaa Lovely Festival and Dour Festival. In July 2005, Patrick left the band and was replaced by Pierre Papadopoulos. At the same time, the band also decided to change their name into "Some Tweetlove" to avoid a long and painful trial. |

CHRISTOPHE BAILLEAU vs WON (BE - FR)
Christophe Bailleau and Won join their forces and sensibilities to a forthcoming album, "free bees full of light", mixing in a poetic way guitars, piano and fields recordings; they present live these new work, with a part of heartfull improvisation. Christophe Bailleau is born in France in 1965 and studied art in Brussels. As a musician, he' s focusing on developping a very organic sound, using acoustic sources (guitar, piano, drums and concrete sounds) and electronics; he constructs playfull and warm soundscapes, both evident and hard to grasp. Christophe takes part of the international musical collective Arden, with Amute, Mitchell Akiyama, Sogar, and many more... Won is the solo project of Sebastien LLinarès (France, 1978). His music is full of guitars, live and sampled, additioned to rythmic loops and electronics. His universe is pastoral and contemplative; each live prestation offers a new way of playing his Work. Since 2005, Sebastien LLinarès is at the head of the intimistic and fresh label Nowaki . |
